Privacy policy

Last updated: 25 October 2026

This policy explains how Foysal Solutions ("we", "us") handles data in PrepDay: Production Planner(the "App"), a Shopify app that turns a store's open orders into a daily production sheet. It applies to merchants who install the App and to the store's customers whose orders the App reads on the merchant's behalf.

1. The short version

PrepDay reads your open orders from Shopify each time you open it, works out what to make for each day, and shows it to you. It does not save your orders or your customers' details in our database. We only store your settings.

2. Data the App reads

  • Orders: open, unfulfilled orders from the last 60 days: order number, order date, tags, order note, order attributes (for example the pickup or delivery date your date app saved) and line items (product, variant, SKU, quantity and line item properties such as flavour).
  • Products: the product type, used to group the sheet by station.
  • Store: your shop address, time zone and whether it is a development store.

The App does not request customer names, email addresses, phone numbers or addresses. An order note or a field filled in at checkout can contain whatever a customer typed. The App shows those fields to you on screen, holds them in memory for up to 30 seconds to keep pages fast, and never writes them to a database or log.

3. Data the App stores

  • Your shop address and the access token Shopify gives the App when you install it.
  • Your settings: date format, date field name, how to plan orders without a date, and whether to split rows by options.
  • Daily capacity limits you set: product ID, product title and the daily number.
  • The date your Pro trial started, so a trial cannot be restarted by reinstalling.
  • Error logs we need to keep the App working. They do not contain order contents.

We never collect card numbers or payment details. Billing is handled entirely by Shopify.

4. How we use data

Only to provide the App: to build your production sheet, week view and order lists, to give support, and to find and fix errors. We do not sell or rent data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to train AI models.

5. Service providers

ProviderWhat they do for us
ShopifyApp installation, authentication, store data and billing.
RailwayHosts the App and its PostgreSQL database.
CloudflareHosts this website.

6. Security

  • All traffic between Shopify, the App and your browser uses HTTPS (TLS).
  • The database is not publicly reachable and access is limited to the people who run the App.
  • Access tokens are never written to logs.
  • Pages, prints and CSV downloads require you to be signed in to your Shopify admin.

If we ever learn of a breach that affects your data, we will tell you without undue delay.

7. Deletion

  • When you uninstall, we delete your access token straight away.
  • About 48 hours later Shopify sends us a deletion request for your store, and we delete your settings, capacity limits and trial record.
  • Requests from your customers that come through Shopify (customers/data_request and customers/redact) need no deletion, because we hold no customer data.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK), you can ask to access, correct, export or delete personal data we hold about you. Email support@foysalsolutions.com.

9. International transfers

Our service providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

10. Children

The App is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. For important changes we will also tell merchants inside the App.
