Options

Need the file? In Shopify admin go to Orders → Export → Current page or All orders → Plain CSV file. Export the orders for the next few days.

Doing this every morning? PrepDay builds the sheet inside Shopify by itself, splits rows by flavour and message, and warns you when a day goes over your capacity.

What this tool does

It reads every open order in your Shopify export, finds the pickup or delivery date your date app saved, and adds up the quantities of each product for each day. You get one list per day, a tick box per line for the kitchen, and the orders sorted by pickup time.

Questions

Is my order file uploaded anywhere?
No. The page reads the CSV with JavaScript inside your browser. Nothing is sent to our servers or anyone else's.
Which date apps does it understand?
It reads the pickup or delivery date that date picker apps save on the order, including Zapiet (Pickup-Date, Delivery-Date), Buunto, Bloom, Order Delivery Date and most others that use a field with date in its name. If yours uses a different name, type it under Options.
Some orders show no date. Why?
Some date apps save the date on each product line instead of the order. Shopify's CSV export does not include those, so this free tool cannot see them. The PrepDay app reads them directly from Shopify.
Which file do I need?
The standard orders export from Shopify admin: Orders, Export, then Plain CSV file. Export the orders that are coming up, for example all unfulfilled orders.
Can it group by flavour or message?
The CSV export does not include product options typed by the customer, so the free tool groups by product and variant. The PrepDay app also splits rows by options such as flavour or the message on a cake.
